A team of engineers and technicians are continuously developing market-oriented innovations.Often in close cooperation with customers and partners from all over the world. High job site frequency provides a global market transparency and is therefore the foundation for a steady progress and the outstanding product range. Exciting ideas arise by the daily contact with end users on site. Using the latest 3D design programs our new innovations pass the way from the simulation and construction to the parts catalogue with parts number descriptions. Clear 3D drawings facilitate the ordering of replacement parts for our customers. The entire SMG product range is CE compliant and subject to constant EMC control processes. SMG products meet international safety regulations and standards - for a high degree of operational safety during use on site. Besides the standard products for the installation and maintenance of synthetic sports surfaces, SMG regularly develops special constructions based on the line-of-business upon customer’s request. Laser-driven paving machines for the installation of cement-bound floor screeds are part of SMG’s enlarged product range for many years as well as the unique installation machines for natural turf produced under license.

Prototyping

For years mechanical engineers in the prototyping have been developing technical
innovations in cooperation with the engineering team. Numerous practical and field tests blaze the long trail to the new product. The often high capital expenditure is rewarded by products which are ready for serial production and marketable and by an excellent reputation in the industry.

Laboratory/test

In our laboratory or test bench the maintenance equipment will be tested for its function. The knowledge gained out of it provides the basis for continuous development and improvement of our products. Furthermore the test bench offers the possibility of having the cleaning brushes and artificial turf undergoing a long-term test. Thus SMG guarantees that the brushes used in its care and maintenance machines treat the fibres of the artificial turf gently.

Application Technology

Experienced SMG technicians at home and abroad verify and afterwards check a new development under various job site requirements and during completely different climate conditions. In addition standardized SMG machines are subject to continuous innovation processes. One of our aim for the customer is the prompt improvement of our products in accordance with the current state of technology - for more efficient working on the job sites. In doing so, we offer our installation machines for synthetic material basically as combinations - adapted to the corresponding surface of your project portfolio. Because only machines coordinated in its performance ensure a logistically smooth installation process and hence represent a powerful equipment package, e.g. MixMatic M6004 and PlanoMatic P928.

Production

A laser cutting and CNC machining centre for bending processes and generously equipped workstations for welding, turning and drilling in our metal construction enable a speedy production flow for the construction of machines as well as the manufacturing of spare parts. The flexibility of the production and the complete technical documentation of the last 40 years guarantee a supply of spare parts even for machines made at the time of establishing the company. All parts of SMG‘s product range are either powder-coated, zinc-plated or hot-galvanized, made out of stainless steel or synthetics for maximum durability. High-quality components of well-known and certified suppliers are made up to complete machines by professionals in our assembling department according to the state of technology. Thereby small series of special machines are subject to regular quality controls as well as large-scale production of standard machines. SMG technicians are working at flexible and ergonomic assembling stations equipped with first-class tools and devices for the highest quality and performance.
